Design and Evaluate Recomposited OR-AND-XOR-PUF

Physical Unclonable Function(PUF) is a hardware security primitive with desirable feature of low-cost.When combination MAX and MIN bitwise operations are used in PUF recompositionits resilience against model attacks was expected to be improved markedly.To our knowledge, there no explicit evaluation this recomposition; thus, study the first evaluate uniformity reliability (x,y,z)-OAX-PUF.Compared most l-XOR-PUF, (x, y, z)-OAX-PUF shows better given l = x + y z without degrading (i.e., retain 50%).As APUF compact instance construct strong lightweight candidates,we further examine modeling OAX-PUF four powerful attacking strategies, i.e., logistic regression attack,reliability assisted CMA-ES attack,multilayer perceptron attack,and recent hybrid LR-reliability attack.Compared XOR-APUF, OAX-APUF successfully defeats attack. It often LR while always increasing time costs these two attacks.However, exhibits lower MLP attack unless x, carefully tuned.Overall, OAX recomposition could an alternative approach constructing PUFs smaller unreliability.
